Pike, perch and burbot over a rocky plateau off the shore
Öningen is a shore dive near Ödeshög where the lake bed runs from the shallows down to 40 m. A broad rocky plateau lies just off the entry, with big shoals of small fish along with pike, perch and burbot, and at best salmon.

The dive
From the entry, divers swim out over a large plateau of rock and cliff formations where the depth varies between 5 and 14 m. The site also has large vertical cliff walls and ravines, which keep the dive varied, and the bottom goes down to 40 m.
