Land's End is the point at the tip of the Baja California peninsula where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, and the last site in a line of dives along the Cabo San Lucas coast. The pinnacle dive runs from 9 to 24 m (30 to 80 ft), with a resident sea lion colony and the remains of the Nürnberg shipwreck at around 12 m (40 ft).

The dive
The dive is boat-only even though the site sits just offshore, among the rock formations at the very end of the cape. The profile runs from about 9 m (30 ft) down to 24 m (80 ft) around the pinnacle, and the resident sea lion colony is the reason most divers come: encounters with the animals in the water are playful.
Schools of cow-nose rays, baitfish and snappers share the site with the sea lions. The remains of the Nürnberg shipwreck sit at around 12 m (40 ft), within the shallower half of the profile. The site is rated intermediate to advanced, and the rock formations give views above and below the water.
