An upside-down 53 m dredge at 30 to 32 m, its metalwork covered in coral
The Dragão is the wreck of a Brazilian dredge, 53 m long, lying broken up and upside down at 30 to 32 m off the Alagoas coast, about an hour by boat from Maceió. Corals cover its metalwork, which has openings that allow penetration. Fish life on it is plentiful, with goliath groupers and barracudas always present.

The Dragão lies at 30 to 32 m, and the visibility around it ranges from 10 to 30 m, so the conditions on the day decide how much of the hull shows at once. Operators take only advanced divers to this wreck.
The vessel was a dredge, 53 m long, and it now lies broken up and upside down on the bottom. Corals grow over its metalwork, and there are openings that allow penetration into the structure. The fish are many and varied: rays pass over the wreck, and goliath groupers and barracudas are always present around it.
