Grand Central Station is a rocky site off Netrani Island named for the way large pelagic fish gather over it, like travellers in a busy station. It is one of the island's popular dives, with rocky walls studded with sea urchins and a choice of profiles from 10 m down to 30 m.
Also known as Grand Central.

The dive
Dives here reach a maximum of anywhere between 10 and 30 m depending on the line taken, over sloping terrain that bottoms out around 30 m. The rocky walls are covered in spiny sea urchins, and big pelagic fish congregate near the slope, the gathering that gave the site its name. Rabbitfish, parrotfish, batfish and barracuda are seen here too.

Know before you go
- Strong surge is one of the site's two notable hazards.
- Sea urchins cover the rocky walls, so a hand placed on the rock can meet spines.
