Okobe Thila is three coral blocks inside the atoll, with reef tops starting around 10 m and slopes running down to 25 m; the listed maximum is 33 m. The biggest block, in the south, is 80 to 100 m long and full of corals, and operators rate the site AOW or higher for its conditions.

The dive
The site is three separate blocks. The biggest sits in the south, between 80 and 100 m long and full of corals — this is where most of the dive happens. A second block stands in the east, described locally as another wonderful block, and the smallest is in the north. The mounts start at around 10 m and slope down to 25 m, with a listed maximum of 33 m.
Conditions decide how much of the thila you cover in one dive. wannadive logs a medium current of 1 to 2 knots and a modest visibility of 5 to 10 m, so moving between the blocks takes attention to navigation. Operators list the site as AOW or higher, which fits the depth range and the current rather than any single hazard.

Season follows North Malé Atoll: The dry northeast monsoon (Dec-May) is the calm season; currents from November bring pelagics to the channels. Late May to July is the weak window - most liveaboards relocate elsewhere.
