Dry Island
Cliff walls and rock formations on the island's open-water side
Dry Island is a large island off Nhơn Hải whose far side drops away in cliff walls and rock formations into open water. Its drop-offs pass 40 m, with soft and hard corals and plenty of fish, and the site is aimed at experienced divers.

The dive
The dive is on the far side of the island, where cliff walls fall into open water and the rock formations below reach about 50 m. The drop-offs carry soft and hard corals and many colourful fish. Heading out to the east from the island leads into greater depth.

Season follows Quy Nhơn & Hòn Khô: March to September is the best window; October to February is the central coast's rainy season, when the sea can be rough and visibility poorer.

- Depth increases heading east, away from the island; staying close to the island is the safer option.
