Miri Pass
Leopard rays and barracudas on a west-coast drift
Miri is a pass on the west side of Raiatea, dived as a drift through the reef at 10 to 20 m. There are no sharks on this dive, but barracudas, leopard rays, batfish and schools of jacks are what draws divers here.
Also known as Passe de Miri, Pass of Miri.

The dive
The dive is a drift through this pass of West Raiatea, run at a depth of 10 to 20 m with the current doing the work. Barracudas, leopard rays and schools of jacks meet divers along the reef as the water carries them through the pass.
