Blacktip sharks over a calm, shallow coral garden
Miri Miri is an ocean-side coral garden between Raiatea and Taha'a, open to divers of all levels. The water is very clear and shallow, there is no current, and blacktip sharks cruise over the coral alongside schools of paddle perch and parrotfish.

The dive
With no current to fight, the dive moves slowly over the coral garden from 10 to 20 m in very clear water. Blacktip sharks move across the reef while schools of paddle perch and parrotfish feed on the coral.

Season follows Raiatea & Taha'a: Diving runs every day all year; humpback whales visit from September to early December and are met on snorkelling trips.
