Ceran Pass
Walls of barracudas circling a yellow-coral peak
Ceran is a deep pass east of Taha'a where the dive centres on a peak covered in yellow coral. It is always dived as a drift, and the pass is very rich in marine life, with walls of barracudas, bigeye jacks, rays, sharks and Napoleon wrasse living around the peak.
Also known as Piton de Ceran, Pass of Ceran.

The dive
The drift carries divers around the yellow-coral peak between 35 and 50 m. Hundreds of colourful reef fish gather on it, among them big walls of barracudas, surgeonfish and bigeye jacks, while rays, sharks and Napoleon wrasse patrol the peak.
