Bulldozer Blade
An amber-quarry bulldozer blade set on the bed of a flooded pit
A bulldozer's dozer blade from the Yantarny amber workings lies in Sinyavino Lake as one of six industrial exhibits in the Yantarny underwater park. It is the second-deepest object in the park, just above the excavator bucket, and makes a stop for divers interested in the machinery of amber mining.
Also known as Dozer Blade, Otval Buldozera.
Where it is and how deep
54.8867° N, 19.9495° EApproximate position — the dashed circle shows where the site lies; your operator's briefing has the mooring.
The dive
The blade rests on the lake bed at 20 m, a metre shallower than the excavator bucket at 21 m, so the two deepest exhibits sit close in depth. It comes from a B-10M bulldozer, the same model whose track fragment lies at 11 m as the park's shallowest exhibit.
