Amber-Wash Pump

The pump that washed amber from the quarry ground, now on the lake bed

The pump that once washed amber-bearing ground loose in the Yantarny quarry now stands on the bed of Sinyavino Lake as an exhibit of the Yantarny underwater park. Shallower than the bucket and blade, it shows one of the machines at the heart of amber extraction.

Also known as Amber Pump, Nasos.
