Upside Down Landing Craft Utility (LCU2)

Triboa Bay does the hard work for you: the site is protected from rough water, and the wreck lies between 9 and 22 m, so the dive is calm, short on stress and generous on time. You descend onto the landing craft — a vessel designed to deliver tanks onto a hostile beach — and can cover the whole of it in a single unhurried circuit, which is why operators rate it as one of the more accessible wrecks in the bay and run novice Open Water divers here.

The wreck offers a combination of small penetration opportunities and abundant marine life on the outside. Confident divers can poke through the openings while newer ones follow the hull's exterior, and the growth on the structure keeps the dive interesting after the novelty of the craft itself has worn off. It also works as a gentle introduction to wreck diving before moving on to El Capitan or the deeper ships mid-bay.
