Golden Rock

A drift along a coral slope where the current can turn mid-dive

Golden Rock is a drift dive along a sloping reef with a diverse range of coral. The current ranges from calm to strong and can change during a single dive, so it is kept for experienced divers who are comfortable letting it carry them.

The dive

The drift starts in 5 to 10 m of water and follows the descending slope of Golden Rock, which stays open down to 35 m. How deep the dive goes depends on each diver's confidence along the slope.
