Jemeluk Bay
A gentle bay slope that ends at a sheer wall

Jemeluk Bay is a shore dive on a bay of hard and soft corals whose gentle slope ends at a wall. The normal dive stays between 10 and 25 m in little or no current, so the same entry suits first dives and experienced ones, while the wall beyond drops to 40 m.
Also known as Jemeluk.

The dive
The dive starts from the beach with a gentle slope out from shore across the bay, where hard and soft corals are richest towards the corner with Bunutan. The normal dive stays between 10 and 25 m; at the edge the wall drops off steeply to 40 m. Current is absent or very light, and the bay is a macro and night-dive spot where the rare ghost pipefish and the mimic octopus turn up.
