Vista Blue
Dense soft corals and sergeant major egg patches

Vista Blue is a house reef entered from the beach, where soft corals grow in high densities down the slope. Sergeant majors crowd the reef and lay their eggs in patches on it, and the site lies close to the island's kite-surfing area.

The dive
From the beach divers reach the house reef, where soft corals extend down the slope in high densities. The reef is full of sergeant major fish, and patches of their eggs show on the reef. The slope reaches a maximum of 36 m (119 ft).

Season follows Bonaire: The sea stays diveable all year; the water is at its coolest in late December and January.
Know before you go
- The site is close to the kite-surf area; avoid it when many surfers are out and carry a DSMB.
