Windsock
Rays and turtles in the sandy shallows

Windsock is a reef by a sandy beach with patches of shade, good for snorkellers and novice divers. Rays and turtles are often seen in the sandy shallows, and the reef runs from about 6 m to 24 m (80 ft) below a beach popular for picnics.

The dive
The sandy shallows are where divers most often meet rays and turtles. From there the reef runs from about 6 m (20 ft) down to 24 m (80 ft), suited to novice divers and to snorkellers in the shallow part.

Season follows Bonaire: The sea stays diveable all year; the water is at its coolest in late December and January.
