Muri Muri, also called White Valley, is a site famous for drift diving: a coral plateau that leads down to a sandbank. Its depth and the currents that can run across it make it a dive for intermediate to advanced divers, who come for the grey reef sharks, tuna, jacks and giant barracuda that patrol it.
Also known as White Valley.

The dive
The dive drifts over a coral plateau that leads on to a sandbank, between about 18 and 37 m (60 to 120 ft). Grey reef sharks, turtles, tuna, jacks and giant barracuda work the plateau, and dolphins sometimes pass through.
The drift carries divers across a tongue of white sand and a huge field of corals. Colonies of garden eels poke their heads out of the sand, and schools of trevally swim alongside.
