A gentle reef slope off Miniloc Island that a resident operator calls El Nido's most popular dive site. The slope runs from 13 to 21 m over lettuce corals and sponges, holds a large colony of blue eels, and stays calm and sheltered year-round — an easy, close-in dive ten minutes from town by speedboat.

The dive
The boat ride is short — about ten minutes by speedboat, twenty by bangka — and you drop straight onto a gentle slope that eases down to 21 m. There is no wall or navigation puzzle here: you follow the gradient at whatever pace the group likes, and the site's shelter means conditions stay calm year-round.
The best of the coral sits between 14 and 16 m, where lettuce and cabbage corals stack into gardens broken up by sponges, so the heart of the dive happens in that band rather than at the bottom of the slope. Schools of yellow snapper gather over the reef, and the site's resident oddity is a large colony of blue eels. You finish by working back up the slope into the shallows for the safety stop.
