Entalula Wall
A vertical limestone wall falling from a 5 m coral garden to 35 m.

Bacuit Bay's signature wall dive, on the west side of Entalula Island. A shallow coral garden at 5–10 m breaks over a vertical limestone face that drops to 30–35 m, with soft corals on the wall and turtles and groupers working it. Conditions are usually calm, with mild current and visibility up to 30 m.

The dive
You drop onto the coral garden that tops the site at 5–10 m, a gentle start with time to sort buoyancy before the bottom disappears. From there the limestone simply stops: the garden edge becomes a vertical wall, and you pick a depth and follow the face with the blue on one shoulder and the soft corals on the other.
The wall reaches 30–35 m at its base, so how deep you run the dive is a plan, not an accident — most divers hold a mid-depth line along the face and keep the garden above as their reference. Turtles and groupers are the regular sightings along the wall. Current is usually mild and visibility runs up to 30 m, and the dive ends back over the shallow garden, which doubles as a comfortable safety stop.

Season follows El Nido & Bacuit Bay: May and November shoulder months bring the best visibility, often past 30 m; June–September typhoons can cancel boat days.
