A shore dive into the basin at the Carwitz end of the Schmaler Luzin, which stretches from the Schmal to the Bäk and reaches 33 m at its deepest. Behind the bathing bay the bottom drops abruptly to 13 m, then slopes steadily on past 30 m.
Also known as Carwitz Basin.

The dive
Behind the bathing bay the bottom drops abruptly to 13 m. The sandy floor holds the rubbish of civilisation along with some older agricultural equipment and tin tubs. Following the steadily sloping bottom takes a diver quickly beyond 30 m toward the floor of the basin, which reaches 33 m and holds 10.5 million cubic metres of water.
