Secret Reef
A small pinnacle beside Blueberry Hill and Hin Rap
Secret Reef is a small pinnacle south of Koh Chang, close to Blueberry Hill and Hin Rap. It rises from a sandy bottom at about 15 m and suits divers fresh from their first course, as long as they keep clear of the coral growing on the seabed around its base.

The dive
The dive goes around a single small pinnacle whose base meets the sand at about 15 m. Coral grows on the bottom around the rock, so buoyancy near the seabed matters more here than depth.

Season follows Koh Chang & Koh Rang: Diving runs year-round; November to May brings calm seas and the clearest water, and the June to October monsoon brings wind, waves and lower visibility.
Know before you go
- Coral grows on the bottom around the pinnacle, so divers need to stay clear of it near the sand.
