Wilder Mann is the Meersburg winter site, open to divers only from 31 October to 15 March. A shallow entry gives way to a steep wall and then a long slope into deep water, and its cold, steep profile suits drysuit divers; tec deep and sidemount courses train here.
Also known as Wilder Mann, Wilden Mann.

The dive
The entry is about 2 m deep, and a steep wall drops from there to roughly 10 m. Below it a slope runs on past 40 m. Straight out from the entry a column stands at about 38 m. Visibility is usually fair, though it depends on the weather.

Know before you go
- The ferry runs close by, so divers keep from straying too far to the right.
- Steep walls and cold water can push divers to their mental limits very quickly.
