Soft and hard coral in shallow water just east of Fulong Beach

Magang is a shore dive at the eastern end of New Taipei City, just east of Fulong Beach. Soft and hard coral spread over the bottom together with the marine life that lives on it, at depths of only around 6 to 15 m, so the site is a shallow dive from start to finish.

The dive
Magang is dived straight from the shore. The coral starts at about 6 m and carries on to around 15 m, a mix of soft and hard coral with marine life spread through it, so the whole dive stays in shallow water off the coast east of Fulong Beach.
