Ka Osting is one of the closest sites to Malapascua, a shallow dive that pairs muck diving with colourful coral. Its resident hairy frogfish are the main draw, and after dark it is one of the island's best critter hunts, with bobtail squid and decorator crabs on the bottom.
Also known as East Garden.
Where it is and how deep

The dive
The dive stays shallow, within 12 m, starting over the muck where the hairy frogfish live and where bobtail squid and decorator crabs are found. Towards the end of the dive the bottom gives way to colourful coral, and the same ground is run again after dark as a night dive for critters.
