Hagelstad
Steep boulder slope full of hollows where flatfish shelter
Hagelstad is a natural site with dramatic underwater topography: a steep, stony slope covered in large boulders instead of a wreck. Divers come for the shapes of the rock pile and for the mussels and fish that live in the hollows between the blocks.

The dive
The dive follows the steep slope down through large boulders to the sand bottom at about 15 m. The blocks form many hollows and formations, and these hold mussels and fish, flatfish above all, so the route is a search among the rocks.
