Olga Atkinson
German steel galeas a short swim off the beach
Olga Atkinson, the wreck of a German steel galeas, is probably the most-visited wreck in Kalmarsund because it is so easy to reach. It rests close to land on a bottom of fine sand and is an excellent beginner wreck.

The dive
The swim out from land is short, since the hull rests only 30 m off the beach on fine sand at 12 m. The wreck is now heavily eroded. Divers look under it, where cod, sea trout and perch sometimes shelter, though seeing them takes some luck.
