Dongjiyu Lavender Fields
Fields of lavender-blue staghorn coral famous across Taiwan
The Dongjiyu Lavender Fields are shallow beds of lavender-blue staghorn coral in the southern Penghu islets, famous all over Taiwan. The coral starts just over two metres down and the fields stay within 6 m, and with gentle currents the site suits beginners, freedivers and snorkellers; the coral shelters reef life from pufferfish to green sea turtles.
Also known as Lavender Forest, Lavender Fields.
