North Point is the northern tip of N'dao (Ndao) Island, west of Rote, where a sandy slope dotted with coral bommies runs down to 30 m. A light current flows along the shoreline. Most of the dive stays around 15 m, among snapper, sweetlips, groupers, batfish and barracuda.

The dive
Divers follow the shoreline at the island's north point, carried by the light current that runs along it. The bottom is sand sloping away between coral bommies, which reaches 30 m at its deepest; moray eels, leaf fish and scorpionfish keep to the bommies, and the reef fish gather around them.
