Ba'a Jetty is a shallow muck dive at Ba'a, Rote's largest town and the port where the fast ferry from Kupang arrives. The sandy bottom goes no deeper than 12 m, most of the dive stays around 6 m and there is no current, so it suits newer divers.
Also known as Baa Jetty.

The dive
The dive stays on the sand around the jetty in still water. The interest is in the small life on the bottom, nudibranchs and pipefish, and in the sea snakes, and big schools of small snappers, barracuda and surgeonfish join them.
