One Tree Rock
An islet with one tree, ringed all round by hard and soft coral

A small islet on the far eastern side of Pulau Tinggi, named for the single tree that grows on it. Hard and soft corals ring the whole islet, building into large boulder formations further out that draw reef fish and small life alike.

The dive
Close to the islet the bottom is covered in hard coral. Further out, at about 15 m, boulders of hard and soft coral rise from the seabed, busy with schooling damsels, angelfish and pufferfish, with the odd moray eel and stingray. The soft coral hanging from the boulders hides nudibranchs and flatworms.
