A coastal cave on the western coast of St. Vincent, entered through an underwater fissure and on the wish list of most visiting divers. It ranks among the island's more challenging sites and is dived only with a local dive professional.
Also known as Byahaut Bat Cave.

The dive
Divers swim through a fissure between two rocks, a shallow rocky passageway cut through the reef, into a cave chamber inside the cliff, with a local dive professional leading the group. Dozens of bats hang from the ledges at the top of the cave. Most of the marine life sits between 12 and 18 m (40 and 60 ft), where eagle rays, pipefish and seahorses can be found.
