Layou Wall

A drift along a leeward wall over the formations of Rock Fort

A vertical wall on St. Vincent's leeward coast, dived as a drift over the rock formations of Rock Fort. The wall drops off to over 46 m (150 ft), and when conditions are right the bottom is visible from the top.

The dive

The dive runs as a drift along the wall face and over the formations of Rock Fort, with the wall dropping away below to more than 46 m (150 ft). It ends on an area of reef at about 8 m (25 ft), where divers spend their safety stop among brightly coloured reef fish.
