Nurek Point
An 18-30 m point with good visibility year round

Nurek Point is dived between 18 and 30 m off Buka-Buka, and its selling point is consistency: the visibility here is reported as good all year round rather than seasonal. The name came from Polish guests who discovered the site and called it nurek, the Polish word for diver.

The dive
The dive works between 18 and 30 m, so it starts deep and stays deep for the first half rather than easing into the profile. That range is the whole published extent of the site, which makes gas and no-decompression time the two things worth watching: there is no shallow shelf built into the route to burn off time on before the ascent.
What is published beyond that depth range is the water. The visibility here is described as good all year round rather than tied to a season, which is the thing the site is listed for. The name is the other matter of record: Polish guests discovered it and called it nurek, which is simply the Polish word for diver. Topography, current and marine life are not documented, so the briefing is where the rest of the dive comes from.
