Gully
A cut through the reef top that leads straight onto the wall

Gully is a Turks and Caicos wall named for a cut in the reef that splits the wall top into two sections. The lip is a dense coral reef busy with cleaning stations, and sharks, grouper, snapper and schools of blue tangs work the face below.

The dive
The wall begins at about 15 m (50 ft), and its top is a dense coral reef with many cleaning stations. Divers start by swimming through the cut that gives the site its name and drop onto the wall at 26 m (85 ft), where sharks, grunts, snapper, grouper and schools of blue tangs move along the face.
