The dive
The boat sits in a small cove, and the group heads either east or west from it. Taking the west side gives the shallower of the two dives: the most interesting features are between 8 and 20 metres, so the profile can stay comfortably inside entry-level limits even though the wall carries on to a 45 to 50 metre maximum below you.
Along the way there is an abundance of nudibranchs on the rock, breams working the wall, and other sea life passing through. Keeping to the upper band means long bottom times and an unhurried pace, which makes this the easier half of the cove for a second dive of the day or for divers still building experience on walls.
