Il Soffione
One-way swim through a wide gallery to a waiting boat

Il Soffione is a wide gallery cut through the rock of the Costa delle Miniere, run as a one-way dive to 13 m. Its walls are crusted with growth and busy with crustaceans of every kind, nudibranchs and fish, and the easy profile asks mainly for good buoyancy control.

The dive
Divers drop in at one point and swim through the broad gallery, where crustaceans, nudibranchs, fish and encrustations line the way. The boat waits at a different spot from the entry, so the swim covers a longer stretch of the coast instead of returning on itself.

Know before you go
