El Túnel Naranja is a swim-through tunnel dive on the volcanic coast near San José, inside the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. The dive averages 15 m with a 20 m maximum and is rated CMAS one-star / Open Water, which makes it one of the more accessible guided dives on the park's western side.

The dive
El Túnel Naranja is dived by boat from San José — under half an hour out — where the village's dive centres run guided dives along their own stretch of the natural park when conditions allow. Diving in the marine reserve happens under authorisation from the Andalusian environmental authority — the centres handle the paperwork — so this is a site to book as a guided dive rather than attempt independently.
The profile is simple: the dive averages 15 m and tops out at 20 m, built around the natural tunnel in the volcanic rock that gives the site its name.
