Pared de la Isla de San Andrés is a simple wall dive along the rock face of Isla de San Andrés off Carboneras, with a maximum depth of 16 m. Rated suitable for all diving activities, its nooks and crannies full of life reward divers who explore the rock with a light.

The dive
The dive runs along the rock wall that gives the site its name, on the flank of Isla de San Andrés off Carboneras. Boats make the short crossing from Carboneras to the island. Maximum depth is 16 m, and the site is rated suitable for all diving activities, which makes it as useful for a training dive as for an easy fun dive.
Bring a light: the wall is cut with nooks and crannies full of life that only open up under a torch beam. In the middle of the dive, right where the group turns around, watch for a crack that climbs from 15 m up to 5 m — the site's signature feature — before you retrace the wall back towards the anchorage.

Season follows Cabo de Gata-Níjar: Visitor season peaks spring through summer; surface water swings from 10-15 °C in winter to 21-30 °C in summer, with 22 °C still logged in October.
