Dionysos is a rock dive to a maximum of 35 m on the Bastia stretch of the corridor, and grouper are its point: imposing grouper and badèche move unhurried around the rocks, while playful octopus tucked into the crevices watch the divers go by.

The dive
The dive works the rocks down to a floor of 35 m, and the residents set the pace. The grouper here are described as imposing — both the mérou and the badèche — and they move peacefully around the structure rather than bolting, so the best approach is the calm one: settle near the rock, keep your movements slow, and let the fish carry on around you.
The supporting cast is octopus, hiding in the crevices of the rocks and known for watching the divers back — check the holes as you work around the site. The 35 m maximum keeps no-stop time short at the bottom of the profile, so take the deepest part early and finish the dive shallower on the structure before the ascent.
