Cueva del Coral
A cave lined inside and out with red coral
Cueva del Coral is a deep cave off Ceuta that holds the largest concentration of red coral in the area. Red coral lines its interior and the rock around it, and the depth makes it a dive for technical-level divers.

The dive
The dive lies between 35 and 43 m. The cave has two entrances, so divers pass through it from one to the other, with red coral covering the whole interior and the rock around the openings.
