Black Rock Beach at Point Pleasant Park is an easy Halifax shore dive suited to every level. The area is generally calm, reaches 15 m (50 ft), and its wall holds sea urchins, old bottles and large lobsters.

The dive
From the sandy entry divers turn either left or right and follow the wall. Sea urchins, old bottles and large lobsters are found along it, and the deepest water reaches 15 m (50 ft).

Season follows Halifax & St Margaret's Bay: Late August and September bring the warmest water and the odd seahorse; winter, free of rain runoff, brings clear water.
