Ilha Sumítica is one of the two islands of the Búzios archipelago, visited on the Búzios boat trip from Ilhabela. Its coast is built from large boulders whose holes gather plenty of marine life, and dives here run from 7 to 25 m. The crossing out to the islands is estimated at 1 h 30, depending on the boat and the weather.

The dive
The coast of Ilha Sumítica is formed of large boulders, and the dive follows this rocky shoreline. The holes between the boulders are where much of the marine life gathers, and the dive works along them between 7 and 25 m.
Ilha Sumítica and Ilha dos Búzios together make up the archipelago, part of Ilhabela State Park, and the boat trip makes two dives at two different points, so a dive here shares the long day out with one other point in the islands.
