Trigger Reef
Nudibranchs and Flabellina affinis grazing on the reef
Trigger Reef is a shallow reef off Pserimos, close enough to The Potteries that both can be dived on the same day. The reef ends on sand, and the dive is a long, relaxed swim along it looking for octopus, moray eels and small colourful molluscs.

The dive
The zodiac drops divers at the start of the reef. The rocks meet the sand at about 14 m, so there is no reason to go deeper, and the route follows the reef above that line. Octopus, moray eels and the common reef fish of the Mediterranean are about.
Nudibranchs, Flabellina affinis and the pilgrim hervia feed on the coral moss along the rocks. A relaxed swim of about 45 minutes brings divers back to the boat.

Can The Potteries and Trigger Reef be dived on the same day?+
Yes. The two reefs lie close together off Pserimos, and both are shallow, so a day on the boat can take in both.
