Bubble Beach is a shallow reef off Kos where the volcanic activity of the island shows itself underwater as a natural phenomenon divers can watch up close. The dive stays within 10 m, so it suits beginners who want to see this side of the island’s geology.

The dive
The volcanic activity under Kos is the reason for this dive, and the natural phenomenon it produces sits on the bottom at a maximum depth of 10 m. The whole dive stays shallow, with the time spent watching the seabed where the activity shows.

Season follows Kos & the Kefalos Peninsula: The St. Stefanos base at Kefalos is open daily from 25 April to 5 November, and the sea is warmest in August, near 26 °C.
