Grotta Santa
A fully submerged cave with an atmosphere all its own
Grotta Santa is a submerged cave on the north side of Lampedusa, between Punta Taccio Vecchio and Punta Cappellone. It is not among the island's richest dives for fish life; divers come for the cave itself and the unusual atmosphere inside it.

The dive
As its name says, the dive is built around a grotto, entirely underwater, and it takes place between 18 and 26 m. Fish are fewer here than on other Lampedusa sites; what the cave offers instead is its setting.
