Punta Alaimo
A descent straight into the blue off a Lampedusa point
Punta Alaimo is a point on Lampedusa, ten minutes by boat west of Capo Grecale. The dive is a plunge into open blue water between 30 and 40 m, a little harder than the other sites around the island, and every plan includes a decompression stop.

The dive
The descent itself is the draw at Punta Alaimo: the dive drops into the blue and spends its time between 30 and 40 m. That depth makes a decompression stop a fixed part of the dive.
