Las Anclas is a shore dive in Sardina del Norte bay to a field of old fishing gear: fish traps and anchors of many sizes, colonised over the years into an artificial reef of sponges and corals. Moray eels, eagle rays, John Dory and triggerfish live around it.

The dive
The target of the dive is a scatter of abandoned fishing gear, traps and anchors of different sizes, which sponges and corals have taken over to form an artificial reef. Fangtooth morays, eagle rays, John Dory and grey triggerfish are the species divers look for, and the bottom reaches 18 m with a moderate current.
