Coral Cave
A huge cavern in the Dwejra drop-off, walls lined with sponges

Coral Cave is a large cavern at Dwejra in western Gozo, set in the drop-off below Coral Gardens next to the Blue Hole. Its walls are covered in colourful corals and sponges, and the cave suits more experienced divers.

The dive
The cave opens in the drop-off beneath Coral Gardens, between 20 and 30 m. It is a huge chamber, and its walls carry a dense cover of sponges and colourful corals that is the reason to swim inside.

Season follows Malta & Gozo: Jun–Sep is the main season, with the sea averaging 21–26 °C; it never drops below 14 °C, so diving carries on through the winter.
