Crystal Lagoon is a shallow, sheltered site with some of Malta's clearest water and a long, well-lit tunnel. It suits divers of all levels and works well as a second or third dive of the day, as well as for photography.
Where it is and how deep
36.0101° N, 14.3280° EApproximate position — the dashed circle shows where the site lies; your operator's briefing has the mooring.
The dive
The site centres on a 30-metre tunnel, long and well lit, set among sea grass, boulders and bright sandy patches. The dive reaches no more than 16 m, and boat traffic overhead in summer means surfacing close to the coastline.

Season follows Malta & Gozo: Jun–Sep is the main season, with the sea averaging 21–26 °C; it never drops below 14 °C, so diving carries on through the winter.
Know before you go
- Heavy boat traffic in summer, especially at weekends and on holidays; surface close to the coastline.
