A sheltered lagoon on the Akamas coast with a small island in its middle, used for training dives and as an easy second or third dive of the day. The shallow water holds a good mix of common Mediterranean life and is also a popular snorkelling spot.

The dive
The dive is a long circuit around the island in the middle of the lagoon, never deeper than 7 m whichever route is taken. A worthwhile detour leads into a big cave in the middle of the island at around 5 m. Octopus, moray eels, damselfish, bream, tuna and plenty of hermit crabs are the usual sightings, and with luck a ray.
